The 2nd Greylyn Cabinet was formed from the election of the Secretary at the September 2021 Secretarial election, serving a three-month term from September to December 2021. This consisted of the Secretary, Vice Secretary, and Ministers of Apocalyptic Affairs, Community Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Information, Recruitment, Roleplay (co-held by two), and World Assembly Affairs.

The final members of the 2nd Greylyn Cabinet were Secretary Greylyn, Vice Secretary Cedoria, Minister of Community Affairs Sauros, Minister of Foreign Affairs Super Awesome Fun Times, Minister of Information New Samon, Minister of Recruitment Dyl, and Co-Ministers of Roleplay Callid and Podria.

Vice Secretary Cedoria also served as Minister of Apocalyptic Affairs temporarily from 10 to 31 October during the Z-day event. Assemblian Cesnica served as Minister of World Assembly Affairs through 20 October, resigning due to controversies over positions in other regions and regional incompatibility with the World Assembly. Both positions were dissolved following their resignations.

Members[edit | edit source]

Secretary Greylyn was elected on 11 September 2021. As they intended to appoint a Cabinet and Supreme Court that included all three founders, Greylyn chose to delay the nomination of Cedoria, the only founder not being appointed for a constitutionally mandated position,[1] such that a non-appointee founder could serve on the confirmation vote election committee in accordance with the Electoral Conduct Act.[2] This initial confirmation vote concluded on 23 September 2021, and Cedoria was confirmed in both their Cabinet roles on 8 and 10 October 2021, completing the formation of the 2nd Greylyn Cabinet.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. Founders Dyl and Kavagrad were nominated for Minister of Recruitment and Standing Justice, respectively.
  2. The Secretarial Appointment Act requires the nomination of a Cabinet and Supreme Court within five days of the release of Secretarial election results. As the Constitution requires Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Information, and Recruitment in the Cabinet as well as three Standing Justices and one Alternate Justice in the Supreme Court, their immediate appointments were mandated by the SAA and Constitution. The Electoral Conduct Act only permits candidates in an election- or, in the case of confirmation votes as set by the SAA, appointees in a vote- to simultaneously be members of the election committee when absolutely necessary, and the Election Act requires at least one founder member on the committee. However, since founder Cedoria was to be nominated for Cabinet roles that were not constitutionally mandated, Cedoria's appointments were not immediately required, so serving on the election committee as an appointee simultaneously was not "absolutely necessary" for Cabinet formation, leading to the delay in their nomination.
