Congress meets in the Enderian Capitol Building in the capital, Brighthaven, and is split into two houses, the Senate and House of Representatives, each with 64 seats, totalling to 128 seats. Senate seats are distributed with 8 seats per state with open-list directly elected Senators from different political parties. House seats are distributed with open-list proportional representation.
The current 4th Congress was elected at the 2020 Winter federal election with a coalition of the Libleft and Lib Parties. The current administration consists of President Not-EcoPaw, Vice President leelee, and the rest of the Cabinet.

Neo Enderion is located on the Enderion Archipelago with a temperate climate in the north and tropical climate in the south. It consists of 5 main islands, Fernhaven, Azurea, Runggen, East Air, and Creonea, and 3 more groups of smaller islands.

Neo Enderion consists of 8 states, containing 20 counties which include 3 urban counties.
States receive limited autonomy with a state government and governor deciding less important non-federal laws.
Counties receive no autonomy. The 3 urban counties are the cities of Brighthaven, Bergen, and Centurion of which Bergen and Centurion are the capitals of Fernhaven and Azurea states respectively.

Due to the fact that Neo Enderion is formed from many islands, land transportation is more difficult; this is also why cars were able to be banned so quickly. Currently, the best ways to travel within islands is by bus, walking, and in the case of Fernhaven, Azurea, and Runggen, rail. Inter-island travel is predominantly by ferry and international travel is predominantly by air.
Heavy investment in public transport infrastructure is underway with the federal government announcing a $60 billion initial capital plan calling for more railways and buses, and bridges connecting the islands.
