The main non-English languages spoken by citizens are Spanish and French with 12.5% each and German with 8.3%. Other language fluencies mentioned by multiple respondents include Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, and Latin.
Ideological affiliations are broad across the spectrum of left-wing politics in the region, with 42.1% identifying with democratic socialism, followed by anarchism with 36.4%, libertarian socialism with 29.9%, and Marxism with 29.0%.▼
