The 4th Culture Competitions was the fourth regional design event held in The Leftist Assembly, hosted by Minister of Information Argentigrad from 18 to 30 May 2019. The event was held to select a new regional animal, anthem, coat-of-arms, and flag.

Timeline

• 18 May: Submission entry commenced
• 25 May: Submissions entry closed
• 25-30 May: Vote on all contests

Counting

Votes were counted using the Condorcet system, where each candidate was compared head-to-head. The candidate that beat all others head-to-head is known as the 'Condorcet winner' automatically wins, but if no candidate achieves this, then a series of tiebreakers was undertaken:

• Candidate with most wins
• Winner of a single transferable vote or head-to-head
• Most primary votes, secondary votes, and so on

As it was the Condorcet winner, Laika the Space Dog was maintained as the regional animal.
