The March 2019 general election was the twelfth general election in The Leftist Assembly and voting was held from 11 to 14 March 2019. The General Assembly, the unicameral legislature of The Leftist Assembly, consists of the Secretary, Prime Minister and five Senators.

The nations elected to the General Assembly were The Final Horseman as Secretary, Argentigrad as Prime Minister, and Kavagrad, South Miruva, Dawtania, Great Varia, and Greylyn as Senators.

Methodology

Voting

To be eligible to vote, a nation must be part of the World Assembly or be actively participating in operations with an affiliated military, as well as reside in The Leftist Assembly.

The voter numbers each of the candidates in order of their preference on a Google Forms document.

Counting

The election moderators were Llorens, Hecknamistan, and Nottinhaps.

For the Secretary/Prime Minister contest, all candidates, including Seek other ticket, are compared head-to-head and the data is compiled into a table. The ticket that has the most wins is declared elected. In the unlikely event that no one ticket has the most wins, a series of tiebreakers is held to elect a winner. If there is only one ticket, they face a confidence vote instead.

For the Senators contest, all candidates, including Seek other candidate, are compared head-to-head and the data is compiled into a table. All the candidates are then ranked primarily according to most wins, however, a series of tiebreakers may be held if necessary. From this ranking, the top number of candidates equal to the number of available Senator positions is elected.

NOTE 1: Dawtania and Great Varia tied on number of wins and head-to-head. On first preferences, Dawtania had 2 and Great Varia had 0, so the first was ranked higher.
NOTE 2: Deloi and Aquila and Logikie tied on number of wins. On head-to-head, Deloi and Aquila had 12 and Logikie had 14, so the latter was ranked higher.
