He is a member of the 'third generation' of Assemblians who founded in a period of major growth following the April Crisis. He was the last of three nations in this group to have served as Secretary, following Kavagrad and New Arkados.
Argentigrad entered politics in September 2018 running for the General Assembly, after which he served two terms as a Senator. He later returned to the legislature for another two terms from March to September 2020. During this time, he passed legislation capping the length of General Assembly votes to three days, which he later shortened to two.
He served a short stint of less than two weeks as Minister of Recruitment under Secretary New Arkados before being as elected as Prime Minister (the last to hold the title) under The Final Horseman in March 2020, a post he held for two terms. From April 2020, he also served as Minister of Information, which included the hosting of two censuses and the 6th Culture Competitions.
Argentigrad ran for Secretary in September 2020, winning a close-fought election against Dawtania with the backing of several high-profile former leaders. He was the first Secretary to lead a Cabinet separate from the General Assembly, with his administration overseeing a substantial boost in the regional population..
After one term as Secretary, Argentigrad opted not to run for re-election. Since then, he has served in various profiles, including one term as Vice Secretary under Dyl, a return as Minister of Information for the final two months of that same term, and one term as the Alternate Justice of the 21st Supreme Court.
- Argentigrad was the first-ever Secretary to lead a Cabinet.
